Donegal County Council today launched Donegal is Calling a video campaign which to encourage
people to make the move to the county.
The campaign promotes Donegal’s fluidity in relation to work life balance. It hopes to appeal to
individuals seeking a productive work week paired with enriching weekends filled with all the
county has to offer.
The campaign comes as more and more people see the appeal of working remotely.
Donegal Ladies GAA Football Captain Niamh Mc Laughlin recently ditched Dublin for
Donegal to be closer to what matters to her most. Niamh explains Donegal offers the perfect
medley of career opportunities and the great outdoors.
“Donegal is becoming so diverse and is always developing in all aspects of study, culture, sports, the outdoors, food and socialising. It offers everything that a bigger city or country can but with the beauty of its views,
outdoors, and its attractive healthy lifestyle.”
Chairman of Donegal County Council, Cllr Liam Blaney said it was hoped the campaign would encourage more people to consider returning to or relocating to Donegal.
“Our relocation marketing campaign is a timely reminder of the opportunities Donegal presents to progress your career across a range of industries, while enjoying a fantastic quality of life and unrivaled scenery. If you are thinking of a change in location, we would actively encourage people to move to Donegal.”
The content for the campaign was filmed on location in Donegal across the towns, villages and beautiful landscapes showcasing all the county has to offer.
