Calamity Jane will be rolling into the Alley Theatre from Tuesday January 31 until Friday February 3. This production of the classic musical western is brought to the stage by Bard Theatre with Royal and Prior Comprehensive School and Deele College and features an all-youth cast and crew.
Get your cowboy boots on, grab yourself a bottle of ‘sasperilly’ and watch the stagecoach rattle in from the windy city. Featuring the classic songs Deadwood Stage, Just Blew in from the Windy City and of course The Black Hills of Dakota this production is sure to get toes tapping.
Andrew Tinny from Bard Theatre said, “Putting together Calamity Jane with both Deele College and The Royal and Prior has been an absolute delight. The chance to combine the talent of both schools has been amazing, and audiences are sure to be in for a great night’s entertainment.
