Did you overindulge over the Christmas period? Dry January and Feel Good February offer an opportunity to look at the relationship with alcohol, save money and ditch the hangovers.
Dry January and Feel Good February is a Public Health Agency Campaign aimed at encouraging people to address their alcohol consumption and make lifestyle changes. Participants will abstain from alcohol for January and consider lowering their intake through February and the rest of the year.
In support of this campaign Council buildings in Derry City and Strabane District Council will illuminate purple. Mayor Sandra Duffy spoke of the campaign saying it is a great way to start the new year.
“It lets us re-set the body and mind and enter 2023 with a clear and fresh perspective.”
Council offices will light up purple on January 12 .
